Join us on Jan. 29th 2025 at 4:45 at HouseBear Brewing (3 Graf Rd STE 15) in Newburyport, MA and learn how to make your own resin tray or cutting board!

Workshop starts at 4:45 pm and lasts about 2 hours. Choose from a 4:45 or 5:15 PM start time. You will learn how to mix, color, and pour resin to make beautiful designs.

Your ticket includes:

flight of 4 1oz tasters of mead; mead, the world's oldest fermented alcohol, is an alcoholic brew made by fermenting the sugars in honey. It can also have fruits, herbs, spices or flowers (like hops) added. A commercial mead will never have grains added, so it'll always be gluten free.
all of the tools and materials to make your project a success including a cutting board or round try, resin, and all of the tools that you need!
an experienced instructor to guide you!
your choice of colors and shells

Socialize with your friends or new ones as you enjoy some mead and create your very own resin art board or tray. Bring food or get food delivered! Bring a friend or two, or make new friends!

*It is recommended to leave your resin project at HouseBear Brewing until the following day so that it can dry.

** Please bring a pizza box or other type of box that is at least 14'' or the width of your specific project to transport your beautiful resin art piece home safely-resin art pieces will need to dry for 24 hours before you can use or handle them***

***Please note that the resin art in the pictures are just examples. You will choose your own colors and create your own design-be CREATIVE! We provide gloves and aprons, but be aware that resin does not come out of clothing.

***Once your order has been submitted, due to the customizations of ALL of our workshops, there are NO REFUNDS FOR WORKSHOPS!

***Please note that we provide suggested designs for your resin art but you will choose your colors and design. Each piece will be unique.

***Each guest attending the workshop must have a ticket due to limited space and materials.

If you cancel within 48 hours of placing your order your FULL reservation fee will be turned into a store credit that can ONLY be used for a future workshop.

If you can not attend a workshop you have registered for you have 2 options:

We can package up your project with instructions & tools needed so you can complete at home
You can MOVE YOUR SEAT and project to a future workshop date (within 30 days of your original date) for a $20 seat transfer fee

PLEASE NOTE: you can NOT swap your original project for a different project.

** You must EMAIL us at: Renee@hsnewburyport.com if you can not attend a workshop. If you do not show up for a workshop and do not notify us, you forfeit your payment & project. We only hold projects for up to 60 days - after 60 days you forfeit your payment & project.

Cancellation Policy

Once your order has been submitted we are immediately beginning the process of production of your personalized stencil. If you would like to cancel your reservation, you must give a minimum of 48 hour notice.

Please note a restocking fee of 30% of the total amount of the workshop will be deducted from your refund. Same day cancellations or no-shows will not be eligible for a refund. Cancellations will be processed on the day we receive your cancellation request. It may take up to 2 weeks for the refund to return to the account you used to purchase your items.

Hammer & Stain reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.

Guest Policy

Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description, unregistered
guests are not permitted to attend any workshop, whether it is a public
workshop or private party. Bringing an unregistered guest will result in the guest being asked to leave as this interferes with the attention and experience of our registered makers. Makers can inquire about purchasing a guest seat but the request will be subject to
approval.
