Join us on Thursday April 9th 2026 at 5:00PM at the Central Congregational Church (14 Titcomb st.) in Newburyport, MA and learn how to create a mandala or decoupage flowerpot!

We will teach you basic mandala design techniques so that you can create a plant pot that you love and cherish! Plant pots can be used for plants, pen holders, or just as decoration! Or you can choose to create a colorful pressed-flower decoupage design!

These pots can be used for plants, flowers, pencil holders, or table-top fire bowls. 

Perfect for beginners! All instruction and materials are included!

Workshop starts at 5:00PM and lasts about 2 hours. Bring your friends, create art, and laugh! Feel free to bring a charcuterie board or snacks to enjoy while crafting. *No alcohol at this venue please*.

Your ticket includes:

  • A ceramic pot of your choice
  • Mandala design tools, paint, and brushes
  • instruction on basic mandala techniques 
  • pressed flowers
  • an experienced instructor to guide you!

Please Note:

**(Please note that pictures are samples, we will guide you, but you will create your mandala design in your  unique design. 

 

***Parking: Parking is available in the city parking garage on Titcomb street. Most street parking around the building is limited to 2 hours.  Please do not park in the YMCA parking lot next to the church.

 

 

Terms & Conditions:

***Once your order has been submitted, due to the customizations of ALL of our workshops, there are NO REFUNDS FOR WORKSHOPS!

***Please note that we provide suggested designs for your resin art but you will choose your colors and design. Each piece will be unique. 

***Each guest attending the workshop must have a ticket due to limited space and materials.

If you cancel within 48 hours of placing your order your FULL reservation fee will be turned into a store credit that can ONLY be used for a future workshop.

If you can not attend a workshop you have registered for you have 2 options:

  1. We can package up your project with instructions & tools needed so you can complete at home
  2.  You can MOVE YOUR SEAT and project to a future workshop date (within 30 days of your original date) for a $20 seat transfer fee

PLEASE NOTE: you can NOT swap your original project for a different project.

** You must EMAIL us at: Renee@hsnewburyport.com if you can not attend a workshop.  If you do not show up for a workshop and do not notify us, you forfeit your payment & project.  We only hold projects for up to 60 days - after 60 days you forfeit your payment & project.

How to Register

  1. Choose your project and design options from the drop down menu.
  2. If applicable include any relevant personal information needed to complete your stencil such as name or date.
  3. Confirm and Agree to our policies and terms.
  4. Add to Cart and checkout.

Cancellation Policy

Once your order has been submitted we are immediately beginning the process of production of your personalized stencil. If you would like to cancel your reservation, you must give a minimum of 48 hour notice.

Please note a restocking fee of 30% of the total amount of the workshop will be deducted from your refund. Same day cancellations or no-shows will not be eligible for a refund. Cancellations will be processed on the day we receive your cancellation request. It may take up to 2 weeks for the refund to return to the account you used to purchase your items.

Hammer & Stain reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.

Guest Policy

Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description, unregistered
guests are not permitted to attend any workshop, whether it is a public
workshop or private party. Bringing an unregistered guest will result in the guest being asked to leave as this interferes with the attention and experience of our registered makers. Makers can inquire about purchasing a guest seat but the request will be subject to
approval.

Personalization & Wood Policy

I confirm that all design choices and/or personalized information is correct and I understand that no changes can be made once this reservation is placed. This is a WOOD workshop so your project will have random cracks, chips, knots, and other natural blemishes that give it it's characteristics. Some peeling may occur. We will do our best to minimize disturbances to the words and make everything look intentional. Please keep in mind, no piece is absolutely perfect, as it is hand crafted but it will certainly be wall worthy!
